    So, this Purple Line lightrail … will it have to have the electrical lines below ground the way the old DC streetcars did?

  2. qwerty42: No, because it will only run in Montgomery and PG county. The no-overhead-wire restrictions only apply in the L’Enfant city — the proposed streetcar over in Anacosta will have overhead wires.
